Abstract: In order to solve the problem of serious damage to water and soil resources,and make the land comprehensive renovation work be carried out smoothly and orderly in the Long River Basin located in Zezhou county,Shanxi province,SWOT analysis method was used to analyze the comprehensive improvement factors of land in this area. The results showed that the strategic type was SO through the quantitative analysis,that is,the area was relying on internal advantages and using external opportunities to promote economic development stage,and the strategic strength coefficient was 0.63. Therefore,the basin could give full play to the advantages of rich resources,while maintain the coordinated development of the economy and the environment so as to promote economic development. At this stage,the comprehensive land rehabilitation work will provide the corresponding resource utilization and protection strategy for the economic development of the river basin.
