Abstract: The problems existing in the financial management of the current provincial agricultural sciences research units were analyzed. Under the new situation of scientific and technological innovation and the reform of “decentralization, management and service”, the importance of the integration of professional work and financial management in provincial agricultural sciences research units has been clarified, and the difficulties and obstacles of the integration of professional work and financial management have also been discussed. From the aspects of strengthening financial management system innovation,enhancing the awareness of the integration of professional work and finance management, strengthening informatization construction, innovating horizontal scientific research project funding management, setting up scientific research financial assistant positions, and improving the assessment and incentive mechanism, countermeasures and suggestions have been put forward to promote the integration of professional work and financial management in provincial agricultural sciences research units.
