南方地区印度南瓜育种现状及展望

Current situation of breeding and developmental direction about Cucurbita maxima in southern area

摘要: 印度南瓜(Cucurbita maxima)是三大栽培南瓜之一。因南方地区气候的特殊性,对中国南方地区选育的印度南瓜新品种、选育方法及存在的问题等进行了概括总结。提出传统育种技术与现代生物技术相结合,重点培育出早熟耐冷、中晚熟耐湿热的保健、优质、抗病、耐贮运印度南瓜新品种;还有南方当地食用花、叶、茎的多样化新品种将是中国南方印度南瓜的育种方向。

Abstract: Cucurbita maxima is one of the three major cultivation pumpkin. Because of the particularity of the southern area climate, we summarized new varieties, breeding methods and breeding problems of Cucurbita maxima in southern area of China. The combination of traditional breeding technology and modern biotechnology was put forward. The Cucurbita maxima varieties which have health care, high-quality, disease-resistant, storage-resistant characteristics were breeding with early-maturing, cold resistance and mid-late ripening and heat tolerance. The diversified new varieties of edible flowers, leaves and stems in southern China will be the breeding direction of Cucurbita maxima in southern China.
