Abstract: As a key factor to promote the development of agriculture of China, the agricultural information is gradually infiltrating into all aspects of agriculture,and it plays an important role in the process of transforming traditional agriculture, developing rural economy, and promoting agricultural modernization. On the basis of studying the development history of agricultural information service system in China, the problems in the construction of agricultural information service system in terms of main functions, supply methods and security systems were analyzed,and four suggestions on how to promote the construction of agricultural information service system were put forward.
