Abstract: The climate characteristics, suitable planting density,occurrence characteristics and relevant measures for the prevention and control of diseases,pests and weeds of spring-sowing maize at growth and development period in Jianghan plain were analyzed,and a simplified cultivation technique for planting spring-sowing maize of Jianghan plain was discussed,some cultivation practices such as reducing inputs of manpower and material resources,saving cost and increasing efficiency,to increase farmers' profits from spring-sowing planting.
