Abstract: The data enveloping analysis method（DEA） was used to evaluate and analyze the input and benefit of vegetable planting in Wuhan suburb from 2010 to 2018, and to explore the factors affecting the vegetable production input and benefit in suburbs. The results show that the average comprehensive efficiency of input and output of vegetable planting in the suburb of Wuhan was high and the overall effect was good, but DEA was ineffective in many years. Due to the unstable input and unscientific structure, the input-output efficiency of vegetables in Wuhan suburb was also unstable, which was not conducive to the innovation of vegetable planting. The production input and output remuneration of vegetables in the suburb of Wuhan city showed an overall increase. Relevant suggestions are put forward from the perspectives of vegetable farmers, government and agricultural enterprises.
