Abstract: Based on the 2003-2014 data of financial leasing in Jiangsu province,the impact of the financial leasing industrial development on the local economic development of Jiangsu was analyzed. The results showed that,the development of financial leasing industry in Jiangsu promoted the local economy of Jiangsu province,and the amount of fixed assets investment,the number of financial leasing industry were positively correlated with the total economic output of Jiangsu province,and there was a negative correlation between the non-performing loan amount of financial leasing industry and the total economic output of Jiangsu province.Accordingly countermeasures and suggestions for promoting the development of financial leasing industry in Jiangsu were put forward.
