Abstract: By comparing two kinds of pretreatment methods, such as wet digestion method and microwave digestion method, the determination method of total sulfur in organic fertilizer was established by inductively coupled plasma emission spectrometer. The test sample for pretreatment of wet digestion, the detection limit of icp-oes is 0.075 μg/mL, the average recovery rate is 97.9%; pretreatment test sample of microwave digestion, the detection limit of icp-oes is 0.058 μg/mL, the average recovery rate is 97.8%. The relative standard deviation of the two pretreatment methods in 0.78%~4.75%, and the results show that the satisfactory results can be obtained from both pretreatment ways.
