Abstract: Based on the micro-survey data of 300 rural left-behind women in the mid-west,and using the Probit model,the factors influencing the new skill demand for rural left-behind women in Midwestern China were empirically analyzed. The result showed that,the educational level,income,social security of left-behind women had a significant positive correlation with their skill demand,while the age,working environment had a significant negative correlation with their skill requirements,and the training situation,working time had no significant correlation with their skill requirements,and finally some suggestions and measures were put forward.
