Abstract: Anatomical and histological observations were performed on the digestive system of Vibrissaphora ailaonica. The results showed that the digestive tract can be roughly divided into oral cavity, pharynx, esophagus, stomach, small intestine, and rectum. The liver is divided into left, middle and right leaves. The esophagus of the digestive tract tissue structure is composed of adventitia, mucosa, muscle, cilia and goblet cells; the stomach is composed of muscularis, mucosa, stomach glands, and gastric pits; and the small intestine is composed of mucosal, muscular, and goblet cells. The intestinal glands of the small intestine and rectum are not developed, and the stomach glands are abundant. The ratio of the length of the intestine to the head is approximately 1.5 times, and the digestive tract is short. In the artificial breeding, the non-leathered and easily digestible bait should be used.
