Discovery and research of new distribution species of endangered plants Primula mallophylla in Hubei province

Abstract: Primula mallophylla, a new species of Primula in Primulaceae from Hubei province, was found in Shennongjia, western Hubei. Supplementary descriptions were made according to the specimens. The habitat characteristics of this species were described. The causes of endangerment of this extremely endangered species were preliminarily analyzed, and suggestions for strengthening protection were put forward.
