Abstract: Primary cultured porcine ovarian granulosa cells were used as a model to explore the effect of ZEA on the apoptosis of porcine ovarian granulosa cells, and to determine whether melatonin (MT) regulated the effect of ZEA on the apoptosis of porcine ovarian granulosa cells. The results showed that3 and10 μmol/L ZEA had no significant effect on the apoptosis of porcine ovarian granulosa cells,but30,50 and100 μmol/L ZEA significantly promoted the apoptosis of porcine ovarian granulosa cells, and showed a dose-effect relationship; It was found that 0.1 and1 μmol/L MT partially inhibited30 μmol/L ZEA-induced apoptosis of porcine ovarian granulosa cells and increased cell viability.
