Abstract: The land use status information and the ecological environment of Tongshan area of Xuzhou city were analyzed. Collecting the current land use data and natural system data of the region,selecting appropriate evaluation indicators and applying ARCGIS software,the ecological environment sensitivity and the importance of the ecosystem service function were extracted and analyzed,and the scientific and rational ecological red line was formulated according to the process of ecological red line. Finally,the conclusion was that the area of ecological protection red line of the study area was 54 504 hm²,accounting for 28.55% of the total area.
