Abstract: Based on the three dimensions of economic integration, life integration and social integration, the evaluation system of urban-rural integration development level in China was constructed, and the regional differences and dynamic evolution characteristics of urban-rural integration development level in China were studied by entropy weight method, Dagum Gini coefficient and Kernel density estimation method. The results showed that , on the whole, the level of urban-rural integration development in China was gradually improved, and the process of economic integration in southern and northern regions was faster than the process of social and life integration, and there were characteristics of growth and decline among different echelons. No matter between the provinces of China, or within and between the southern and northern regions, the difference between urban-rural integration development came more from the difference of supernet value and density between regions, among which the overlapping problem between different regions was the main reason for the unbalanced integration level. There was polarization in the urban-rural integrated development level in all regions of China, and the north was stronger than that in the south, showing the characteristics of “high-high” and “low-low” agglomeration.
