Abstract: To address practical challenges in high-quality farmer training, including misalignment between supply and demand, insufficient learning-to-practice conversion efficiency, and lack of systemic closed-loop mechanisms,5 608 farmer training demand survey responses from Hubei Province were analyzed using the ADDIE model as a systematic framework. Through descriptive statistics and cross-analysis methods, a five-phase evaluation covering analysis, design, development, implementation, and assessment was conducted to systematically diagnose operational effectiveness and shortcomings in Hubei’s training system. The survey revealed high overall trainee satisfaction, yet identified issues such as imprecise demand alignment, limited course practicality, monotonous implementation models, and inadequate follow-up services. Training needs exhibited significant variations across age groups and industry types. Based on findings and ADDIE model insights, systematic improvement strategies focusing on demand precision, modularized curricula, diversified methodologies, and sustainable service delivery were proposed. The study emphasized that high-quality farmer training systems must prioritize farmer-centric and outcome-oriented approaches, transitioning from experience-based methods to systematic design frameworks and shifting from short-term intensive training to long-term follow-up programs. These findings provided empirical evidence and practical references for establishing efficient, adaptive, and iteratively optimized training systems across Hubei Province and nationwide.
