PpPRR5基因在不同光合速率梨品种中的表达分析

Expression analysis of PpPRR5 gene in pear genotypes with different degrees of photosynthetic rate

摘要: 提高光合作用水平是提高果树产量潜力的有效途径。生物钟基因能够响应外界环境信号,并在光合作用中发挥调控作用。研究分析了不同类型梨品种(包括砂梨、白梨以及西洋梨)光合作用差异,检测了PpPRR5基因在不同品种中的表达水平变化模式。结果表明,不同梨品种的净光合速率存在显著差异,砂梨品种翠冠净光合速率最高,白梨品种居中,西洋梨品种阿巴特净光合速率最低。表达分析发现,与梨树光合作用密切相关的生物钟基因PpPRR5表达水平与不同品种光合作用能力呈负相关性,表明PpPRR5可能是梨树光合作用的负调控因子。

Abstract: Improvement in photosynthesis is an effective way to further increase yield potential in fruit crops. Circadian clock genes could be adjusted by environmental cues, and thereby regulate photosynthesis. The differences of photosynthesis of different types of pear varieties (including Pyrus pyrifolia, Pyrus bretschneider and western pear) were studied and analyzed, and the expression level and change pattern of PpPRR5 gene in different varieties were detected. The results showed that significantly different levels of net photosynthetic rate were observed in five pear genotypes. Pyrus pyrifolia Nakaicv. ‘Cuiguan' had the highest levels of net photosynthetic rate. Pyrus bretschneider maintained moderate levels of net photosynthetic rate. Pyrus communis L. cv. ‘Abate Fetel' showed the lowest levels of net photosynthetic rate. There was a negative correlation between the expression of circadian clock gene PpPRR5 and the capacity of pear genotype for photosynthetic rate. The result suggests that PpPRR5 acts as a negative regulator of photosynthetic performance.
