The Survey and Analysis of Pest Egg Parasitoids in the Paddy Fields in Hubei Province

Abstract: The egg parasitiods population were systematic surveyed in the paddy fields in Hubei province in recent years. The results showed that Trichogramma japonicum and T. chilonis were the predominant population,the parasitic rate were up to 94.1%~95.0% for the eggs collected in the fields. Telenomus parnarae was the secondary dominant population,the parasitic rate of which was up to 87.5%,while the parasitic rate of other egg parasitoids were very low,which were usually lower than 35%.
