The High-Efficient Grafting and Seedling Technique of Upland Cotton and Island Cotton and Its Application

Abstract: Grafting technique of cotton can effectively control Verticillium wilt, increase the yield and quality of cotton. The high-efficient grafting and seedling technique of upland cotton and island cotton was introduced, which mainly included the selection and seedling raising of rootstock and scion varieties, grafting methods and grafting seedling management, green control technology during symbiotic stage of grafted seedling and watermelon. The practical application showed that, the grafting survival rate ranged over 90%, and the benefits was increased over 5 820 yuan/hm2.
