Abstract: To establish a method for quick determination of moisture content in Oldenlandia diffusa seeds by near infrared spectroscopy, which can be used for planting seedling cultivation and medicine storage management and quality control. The methods of drying and humidifying are used to process samples, which is used to expand the water distribution range of samples and the moisture was measured by the drying method. Near infrared spectroscopy combining partial leastsquares method(PLS) was used to develop the moisture quantitative analysis mode. Results showed that the correlation coefficient of model was 0.991,RMSECV was 0.086,the internal cross validation and the external verification were less than 1.0%. The NIRS model can accurately predict the moisture content in Oldenlandia diffusa seeds, which can be used for planting seedling cultivation、medicine storage management and quality control.
