The analysis of body comfort index in Baoding city under the background of climate change

Abstract: Based on the meteorological data from 1971 to 2010 of 12 meteorological stations in Baoding city and the body comfort index (DI) formula, the body comfort index of different landforms in the area was calculated. The results showed that: W11The time which was more comfortable appeared in April, May, June, August and September in Baoding city. The mountain area maintained comfortable state in July, and the plain and the wetland remained relatively comfortable in October. The trend of change about cold discomfort days was reduced significantly. The trend of change about comfortable days was decreased too, but the change rate was not obvious. The trend of change about heat discomfort was increased significantly, and the change rate was obvious. The body comfort index of this area had some periodic changes, and the most obvious of the cycle was 16-year. The days of cold discomfort were decreased from northwest to the southeast. The days of comfort were more longer in the western and the northeast than the others in Baoding city, the days of thermal discomfort were increased from northwest to southeast in Baoding city.
