Abstract: Selecting Forsythia suspensa as the test material and mantis as the creative theme,Paratenodera sinensis Saussure,female imago of Chinese Broadsword Mantis common in China was chosen as bionic object.Catching the habitual movement before hunting,the bionic art design of the external form of trees was carried out around the features.Shrubs that have been grown for four years were selected for directional planting in the center of the mold,and the image modeling was made by pruning and binding process.Then interesting garden landscape was built with green sculpture always presented as vivid mantis by careful maintenance.
