Abstract: In order to strengthen the exploitation and utilization of excellent characters in pear germplasms, the stone cell content of 853 pear flesh was detected and analyzed. The results showed that, the stone cell content was 0.043%~4.764%,the average value was 0.812%,the coefficient of variation was 68.72%,the median value was 0.694%.17 extremely low germplasm resources with stone cell content less than 0.1% and 10 extremely high germplasm resources with stone cell content more than 2.5% were screened out. These specific resources could be used in pear breeding, genetic population construction and lignin metabolism research,so as to improve the utilization efficiency of germplasm resources.
