Abstract: Based on the panel data of three cities in southern Shaanxi from 2010 to 2017, the projection pursuit model optimized by genetic algorithm and particle swarm optimization is used to calculate the green economic development level of the three cities. The results showed that from the perspective of regional vertical development, Hanzhong, Ankang and Shangluo showed a steady growth trend from 2010 to 2017, but the development characteristics of different regions were also different. From the horizontal perspective of sub indicators, Hanzhong ranked first, Ankang second and Shangluo third; In terms of economic development level and social development quality, Shangluo lagged behind Hanzhong and Ankang in terms of economic development level and social development quality. In terms of ecological civilization construction, Hanzhong had a small growth rate, but Ankang had declined, while Shangluo had achieved good results; The scientific and technological innovation service was the short board of Ankang green economy development.
