Abstract: Based on the data of FDI, foreign trade and economic growth in Hubei province from 1989 to 2019, the stationary test, Johansen cointegration test and Granger test showed that there was a correlation and long-term equilibrium relationship among FDI, foreign trade and economic growth in Hubei province, and FDI and foreign trade were conducive to economic growth in Hubei province. At the same time, combined with the theory of economic growth, Hubei province should further clarify the development strategy of outward opening, promote the development of Hubei Pilot Free Trade Zone, so as to attract foreign investment, expand exports, and stimulate the economic growth of Hubei province by expanding domestic demand.
