Abstract: According to the theory of bibliometrics and scientific knowledge map, using the software of CiteSpace and BibExcel, this paper studies the international food safety behavior based on analyzing the co-occurrence of keywords, co-citation of literature, co-citation of author, cooperation instutition, co-nation/region of papers in the Web of Science (WoS) database. The results showed that the number of projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), the total number of documents issued and the frequency of co-national/regional of China in this field were all high-ranking. But the number of prolific authors, highly cited authors, highly cited literature, highly cooperation institution of China in food safety behavior were all low-ranging. The academic influence and discourse power of China in this field should be improved. The research focuses were the consumer behavior, education of food safety, and best practices. Its knowledge base came from consumer behavior, food safety education, food waste, food traceability system.Food quality, food shortage, food supply chain, food waste, and traceability system were the academic schools in this field.
