The estimation and release of the construction land consolidation potential of rural residential areas based on potential type differentiation:Taking a county in hilly region of South China as an example

Abstract: The potential of rural residential construction land consolidation from the perspectives of other idle land, idle construction land and standard-exceeding residential land was calculated, the regional consolidation benefits from the economic perspective were explored, and the time sequence of construction land consolidation based on the consolidation potential and benefits was determined. The results showed that the potential of rural residential construction land consolidation in the study area was sufficient, and the potential of standard-exceeding residential land consolidation was significant; the consolidation efficiency of other idle land and idle construction land was superior, and the difference between the income and expenditure of the standard-exceeding residential land consolidation was obvious; the release of rural residential construction land consolidation potential was related to the consolidation area, benefits and time sequence, which was determined by regional capacity and demand.
