Abstract: The fishermen's professional cooperative is the concrete practice form of the cooperative system in the process of fishery industrialization. The development of fishermen’s professional cooperatives is an important way to cultivate new fishery operators and innovate fishery management system. Various regions have actually stipulated and explored the development of fishermen’s professional cooperatives in different areas, but the implementation is quite different. Through the investigation and typical interviews of the coastal and inland provinces, summarize the current development status and practice characteristics of fishermen cooperatives in China, analysis of three kinds of common fishermen cooperatives types and cases, and points out the important and key link to solve of future fishery cooperatives policy supply.
