Abstract: By using canonical correlation analysis, the correlation between per capita disposable income of rural residents and input and output of agricultural production in Lanzhou city from 1995 to 2018 was analyzed. The results show that the total retail sales of social consumer goods, the total population at the end of the year, cultivated area, the number of practitioners of agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery and the sown area of crops are the inputs that have the greatest impact on the per capita disposable income of rural residents in Lanzhou city. Crop sown area and the amount of chemical fertilizer are the inputs that have the greatest influence on the total grain output in Lanzhou city. Finally, according to Fisher optimal segmentation method, the agricultural production development of Lanzhou city from 1995 to 2018 was divided into four stages, and the existing problems and solutions in the current stage of development were pointed out through data analysis.
