Biological function and application of new plant growth regulator strigolactones

Abstract

Abstract: Strigolactones （SLs） is a general term of the alcohol compounds of striga. It is a kind of signal molecule which can regulate the endogenic development of plants in recent years. It is called a new plant hormone. Recently, much researches have been done on SLs, there are many reports on the study of striga compounds and their functions. The research and crop cultivation application of the biological functions of SLs were reviewed,and the future research of SLs was also forecasted.
