Abstract: Cep164 is one of the important genes involved in ciliogenesis. In order to study the relationship of the Cep164 and CP110, explored the role of CP110 in the regulation of ciliogenesis by Cep164. Immunofluorescence staining and Western Blotting were used to determine the expression of CP110 gene in the Cep164 gene knockout cell and embryo of mice. The interaction between the Cep164 and CP110 protein was confirmed by COIP. The results showed the Cep164 gene mutation increased CP110 gene expression. Cep164 regulated the expression of CP110 in cells indirectly. CP110 degradation failure could be the one of reason for the Cep164 gene mutation cause cilia dysfunction.
