Abstract: In order to explore the impact of social security on farmers' green fertilization, this study analyzed the impact of social security on farmers' production behavior from three aspectsCredit acquisition effect, risk taking effect and system trust effect. It is found that good social security system can improve the possibility of farmers' access to credit support by economic effect and health effect, good expectations about future life can increase farmers' willingness to undertake risks, perceptions brought by the social security system can improve the system of the farmers trust, thus increasing the willingness of green fertilization. However, social security needs to develop to a certain stage before it can play its due role in promoting farmers' green fertilization and social governance. In order to improve China's rural social security mechanism, in view of China's current social security system,it is proposed to strengthen the top-level design, promote the coordinated development of urban and rural social security system, guide social organizations and citizens to participate in the social security system, and integrate agricultural production goals into social security.
