Abstract: The effects of different concentrations of salicylic acid on postharvest physiology and storage quality of Prunus domestica × armeniaca konglongdan were studied. The results showed that compared with the control, different concentrations of salicylic acid treatment could inhibit the ethylene release rate of konglongdan, reduce the respiratory strength of the fruit, maintain a high hardness of the fruit, and reduce the weight loss rate and decay rate of the fruit. In addition, the salicylic acid treatment could maintain a high content of soluble solids, and significantly improve the antioxidant enzyme activity of the fruit. Salicylic acid treatment could enhance the storage tolerance of postharvest konglongdan and maintain high storage quality, especially the low concentration salicylic acid (0.1 mmol/L) treatment having the best preservation effect, which could be used as a suitable treatment condition to improve the postharvest storage tolerance of konglongdan and prolong its freshness.
