Abstract: Bacteriological and molecular biological methods were used for the diagnosis of tissue samples from a goat farm in Guangxi in March 2021. The isolated strain was identified as Escherichia coli by morphology, and Mycoplasma pneumonia ovine positive was identified by PCR amplification. Drug sensitivity analysis was performed on the isolated pathogenic bacteria. The drug susceptibility test showed that the bacterium was highly sensitive to cephalexin, cefoxitin, ceftriaxone sodium, ofloxacin, ciprofloxacin, gentamicin, kanamycin, norfloxacin, and cotrimoxazole. According to the test results, this disease was caused by the mixed infection of goat contagious pleuropneumonia and colibacillosis.
