Abstract: Small farmers are the basic organization form of agricultural production in our country. They are bred under the background of our unique historical culture and different resource endowments, and they are the actual agricultural production form. The long-term existence of small farmers is the basic national condition of our country. Realizing the organic connection between small farmers and modern agriculture is the only way to develop modern agriculture in our country. This paper analyzes the current situation of small farmers, focuses on the internal relationship between small farmers and modern agriculture, and puts forward strategies to promote the rapid development of modern agriculture from the perspective of improving the degree of organization of small farmer.
