Abstract: The coordinated development of marine and terrestrial economies is of great significance to China's economic and social development.Based on the data of 11 coastal provinces andcities in China from 2006 to 2016,this study constructed an index system from the coupling of sea-land system,selected Super-SBM method to evaluate the the development of land and sea economy,and calculated the coupling coordination degree of sea and landeconomic development,and then analyzed the spatial patterns and driving force of oupling coordination degree by using spatial statistical tools.The results showed that,except Shanghai and Hainan,the promotion of marine system in other provinces and cities to land economy were higher than that of land system to marine economy.The coupling coordination degree of Tianjin,Hebei,Liaoning,Shandong and Guangxi were on the decline,while Liaoning,Zhejiang and Guangdong were in the stage of mild maladjustment.The coupling coordination degree showed negative spatial autocorrelation from 2006 to 2008 and positive spatial autocorrelation from 2009 to 2016.More than 45% of coastal provinces and cities were in the region with low coupling coordination degree.The coupling coordination degree was affected by the coupling coordination degree of neighboring provinces and cities;Economic driving,government regulation,investment driving,market driving,science and technology driving and coupling coordination had positive spillover effects,while environmental inversion and coupling coordination had negative spillover effects.
