Abstract: Taking Hebei province as an example, based on the coupled coordination degree model, the principal component analysismethod was used to analyze the coordinated development level of rural population, resource and environment in Hebei province in the past 10 years from 2010 to 2019. The results showed that the coordinated development degree of rural population, resource and environmentin Hebei province showed a downward trend first and then an upward trend, changing from a severe imbalanced decline type to a higher-level coordinated development type. The development of population subsystem was rising steadily, and the resource and environment subsystem was in a fluctuating upward state. The overall trend of coordinated development was good, but it was still in the primary coordinated development type. Therefore,the rural development of Hebei province should coordinate the balanced development between the systems of population, resource and environment, so as to lead the rural construction in the new era with coordinated development.
