Abstract: Taking the Yellow river beach area of Xinxiang plain demonstration zone as an example, according to the idea of ‘integrated management and protection of mountains, rivers, forests, fields and lakes', this paper analyzes the current situation of the lower Yellow river beach area, analyzes the existing ecological problems, and puts forward the principles of plant planning in the lower Yellow river beach area. According to the management concept of three flood beaches, the zoning plant planning of high flood beaches, the low flood beaches and the newly formed flood beaches is carried out, and the vegetation landscape restoration strategies of the low flood beaches and the newly formed flood beaches are given, and the ecological management methods of the lower reaches of the Yellow River are explored from the perspective of plants.
