Abstract: Taking the Chengdu metropolitan area as the research area, the urbanization level, economic development quality and ecological environment of the nine cities in Chengdu metropolitan area from 2005 to 2016 in terms of urbanization rate, GDP ratio of tertiary industry and ecological environment were calculated and analyzed. Based on the situation, the coordination degree model was used to analyze the coordination of the three. The results showed that the urbanization rate of the urban area was continuously improved, the quality of economic development continued to improve, and the quality of the ecological environment was generally declining. The degree of coordination among urbanization level, economic development quality and ecological environment quality of various cities fluctuated greatly with time, but the overall trend showed a slow downward trend, and there were obvious regional differences in coordination degree. The coordination degree between urbanization and economic development quality had been continuously improved, but the degree of coordination between urbanization and ecological environment quality, economic development and ecological environment quality had generally declined.
