Study on Water Resources Carrying Capacity in Guangdong Province Based on Multilevel Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation Model

Abstract: On the basis of guaranteeing the reasonable allocation of regional water resources and ecological benign cycle,this paper implemented multi-level fuzzy comprehensive evaluation on the water resources carrying capacity of Guangdong province,established the evaluation index system for the water resources carrying capacity of the sub-systems starting from the development status of water resources,ecological environment and social economy, and then conducted quantitative evaluation on the changes of the water resources carrying capacity of Guangdong province from 2008 to 2015. The results showed that,the current situation of the water resources carrying capacity in Guangdong province was in a“carrying” state and complied with the actual situation of Guangdong province,the quality changes of ecological environment was the main driving force to improve the water resources carrying capacity in Guangdong province,and the growth of population density and high-speed economic development in the social and economic development were always the main compression factors of the water resources carrying capacity. Thus,it is suggested that water conservancy facilities should be built up in the future,and groundwater resources should be developed and utilized to save water and raise the utilization ratio of water resources,so as to improve the carrying capacity of water resources.
