Abstract: The three-line hybrid late rice Jufengyou 1098 was approved by Hubei Provincial Crop Variety Approval Committee in April, 2017. The approval number is Eshendao 2017023. The average yield of the variety in Hubei province was 8.655 t/hm² in the two years’ trial, increased by 5.42% compared with control variety Jinyou 207. The rice quality reached class 3 of the national high quality rice standard. Its whole growth period was 116.9 d,1.8 d shorter than control variety. Comprehensive index of rice blast was 6.8. It is suitable for planting as late rice in Hubei province, except in those areas with severe rice blast.
