The Risks of Manure in Agricultural Industrialization——the Case of Germany

Abstract: Germany is a country with a highly developed agriculture, but agricultural industrialization resulted in growing amounts of animal manure spread on the fields due to the expanding scale of animal breeding. This development results in serious environmental pollution which is not only risky for the people's health but also for the future development of production. Therefore, the article introduced the basics of agricultural industrialization in Germany, gave an example for identifying the risks related to animal manure in agricultural industrialization in the area of the Oldenburger Muensterland and gave recommendations for action aiming at reducing the risks of manure in agricultural industrialization.
