Abstract: Agricultural characteristic towns will become an important handle to narrow the gap between urban and rural areas,promote structural reform of agricultural supply side and boost Rural Revitalization Strategy. Through the analysis of the connotation and types of agricultural characteristic towns,this paper discusses the social and economic value of the small towns with agricultural characteristics,analyzes the encountered problems in the process of promoting the construction of agricultural characteristic towns,and points out the corresponding solutions so as to promote the healthy development of small towns.
