Urban Development Boundary Demarcation Based on the Suitability of Construction Land

Abstract: Taking the central urban area of Dongxiang district,Fuzhou city,Jiangxi province as an example,the suitability of construction land was evaluated by means of GIS platform. The boundary of urban development,the continuity of basic farmland and the national utilization of cultivated land were revised,and a decision was made according to the principle of coordination of spatial contradiction and the layout of urban construction land and agricultural production was optimized,and the boundary of urban development was delimited. The results show that the suitable value of construction and development is distributed in the main urban area and road from high to low. The spatial decision of non-adjustable area layout conflict is to adjust the urban development boundary and give priority to protecting farmland. The spatial decision of adjustable area layout conflict is to adjust the cultivated land protection scope and give priority to protecting urban development.
