Abstract: There are rich natural resources, unique ecosystem, profound cultural heritage in Danjiangkou peninsula. On the basis of the detailed analysis of the demand for ecological construction and economic development of the town of Artemisia, the comprehensive planning of the agricultural sightseeing garden in Danjiang peninsula from functional areas, roads, terrain and plants is carried out in order to fundamentally solve the outstanding problems such as no leading industry, poor households' income increase and slow development of tourism industry. Combined with the concept of rural integration, ecology, innovation and sustainability, the solution to the construction of agricultural tourism garden with the pattern of "agricultural and forestry planting + agricultural products processing + leisure tourism" in the urban fringe was discussed, through the development and planning of the garden.
