Abstract: Five varieties of Abelmoschus esculentus （Linn.） Moench] were selected to interplant with Idesia polycarpa Maxim., their growth characteristics and yield were analyzed and compared. The results showed that, the growth stage and morphological characteristics of different Abelmoschus esculentus varieties were different, and there were significant differences in unit area yield. The yield of Green arrows and Five-fu was the highest, which were most suitable for interplanting with Idesia polycarpa maxim..
