Research advances of vermicompost used in the field of agriculture

Abstract: The application of vermicompost, a new bio-organic fertilizer containing a large amount of nutrient elements and organic matter, has become a trend in the development of green agriculture in the context of the national advocacy of reducing chemical fertilizers and pesticides. Vermicompost could not only improve the quality of soil, increase soil organic matter content, increase crop yield, improve the quality of agricultural products, but also alleviate continuous crop cropping barriers and control the occurrence of soil-borne diseases. The research advances of vermicompost in the field of agriculture were summarized.
