Abstract: The theory of ecosystem service function was analyzed, and the ecological function of water resources into three categories according to the natural geography and human condition, the total water resources and the distribution of water resources in Changzhou city were divided： direct use function, regulating function and cultural function（tourism function）. The accounting method of three kinds of market value method, shadow engineering method and travel cost method were adopted to calculate the value of water resources ecological services in Changzhou city in 2015, which was about 28.079 billion yuan, accounting for 5.32% of the annual regional GDP of Changzhou city.
