Abstract: To further understand the genetic effects of the FGF23 gene in Changshun green shell,100 random long-green hens fed with 10 weeks old were randomly selected from the same time, healthy and disease-free, under the same management conditions. Blood was collected from the wing veins, DNA was extracted, and PCR was performed using a mixed gene pool. Direct sequencing method was used to study the single nucleotide polymorphism(SNP) screening of FGF23 gene. Results showed that three SNP mutation sites were screened in the promoter region of FGF23 gene in Changshun green shell(g.73424388,T>C;g.73424577,T<C;g.73424660,G>C) Among them, g.73424388 and g.73424660 two mutation sites are moderate polypeptides, and g.73424577 is a low polypeptide. It showed that the genetic diversity of Changshun green shell hens is abundant in natural populations.
