Abstract: Land reclamation engineering specialty is a new engineering major approved by the Ministry of Education in 2017. Chang' an University is the first batch of colleges and universities to set up land reclamation engineering specialty. Taking Chang' an University as an example, the target of talent-cultivating of land reclamation engineering specialty were introduced. The professional orientation, teaching staff, curriculum system, teaching contents, practice teaching and other construction were also introduced. Practical teaching and other construction contents, with a view to improving the level and status of professional construction in colleges and universities, tamping the foundation of talent training, ensuring the quality of talents in the industry, serving the local economic construction and the construction of national ecological civilization.
