Abstract: Based on the relevant data of the National Bureau of Statistics, the current situation of the low participation rate of the new generation of migrant workers' social insurance is introduced; and the influencing factors of the low participation rate of the new generation of migrant workers' social insurance are analyzed from the three aspects of government, enterprises and new generation of migrant workers themselves. It pointed out the urgency of the new generation of migrant workers to participate in social insurance. The countermeasures to accelerate the promotion of the social insurance participation rate of the new generation of migrant workers are puts forward, with a view to laying the foundation for promoting the citizenization of the new generation of migrant workers, accelerating the development of urbanization, realizing social equity and building a harmonious city.
